REVISION TO COURSE PLAN Proposed & AGREED UPON IN -CLASS!!
Because most of class period was required to discuss graded essays, including Incompletes/Required Revisions, there was little time to begin the scheduled Writer's Workshops.  Therefore, Writer's Workshop on Preliminary Draft of Critical Response Essay has been rescheduled for Tues., 10/25; and the deadline for the Final Drafts of the Formal Academic Summary and Critical Response Essay has been delayed until Thurs., 10/27/05:  see also Revised
Week #6 below.

Wk 5 NOTE 1:  If you received an "INC"/REVISION REQUIRED on your Comparative Essay,
you must confer with Cora and submit a Revision,
with original
Final draft containing Cora's commentary and
Cora's Evaluation Checklist attached, as soon as you can.
If Required Revision with above attachments is NOT submitted,
a grade of "INC" will be converted to a failing grade
on Comparative Essay at the end of the term.

Wk 5 NOTE 2 REVISION OPTIONS are permitted only if Final Drafts
of major graded assignments are turned in on time; AND
Optional Revisions will NOT be accepted for re-grading consideration
unless they are submitted with Cora’s evaluation & annotated original final draft.
Such permitted revisions are entirely OPTIONAL.
Students who wish to act on permitted Revision Options are encouraged to do so
as soon as possible after Cora returns graded major assignments.
Tues. 11/29/05 is the non-negotiable deadline for all permitted late/make-up work and
optional revisions.  NOTE WELL: There are NO Revision Options for Research-Based Project Part Two: Argument Essay NOR for Formal Peer Review (Summary & Analysis): see Wk #11.

Week #1 | 2 REV| 3 REV| 4 REV| 5 REV| 6 REV|
NOTE WELL: Because most class time on Thurs., 10/20/05, in Week #5, needed to be devoted
to discussing returned Comparative Essay (including "INC"/Revision Required)
key Wks 5-6 assignment deadlines have had to be revised
(as proposed and agreed upon in class on Thurs., 10/20/05).
Additional revisions to the Course Plan (Wks 7-10) will therefore also be necessary,
to be negotiated in class during Week #6.
