Week #6 HUM 211 TV Meeting: Notes
Tues., Feb. 12; & Thurs., Feb. 14,
2002

[New Email Message sent Sat., Feb. 16:]

I hope you received my email message the morning of Thurs., Feb. 14, notifying you that I was sick and that TV class that day was canceled. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience my illness and absence may have caused you—and I am sorry for the delay in webposting the Midterm assignment and in sending out to a remaining few of you your scores on Discussion #2. I am sufficiently recovered now to complete that work.

This email will direct you to relevant webpages (below) where you can read Directions for the Midterm Discussion Paper and the revised deadlines connected with the Midterm. Please read as soon as you can, and direct your questions to me. We will also have a chance to discuss your questions in-class at the next televised meeting on Tues., Feb. 26; before the Midterm is due on Wed., Feb. 27. The follow-up Discussion #4 Workshop Group Response assignment and deadline has also been delayed, necessarily—we’ll discuss at the televised class meeting on Thurs., Feb.28.

In addition, over the next couple of days, I plan to comment on (i.e. post replies to) each of your Things Fall Apart Literary Journal reports posted to the Discussion #3 Forum—in the order that they were posted—with an eye to offering advice that might help you with the Midterm. . . .  Soon thereafter, I will be updating WebGrade to include everyone’s Discussion #3 scores—if you have misplaced your WebGrade ID and Password, let me know and I will email them to you.
