Directions for Tues., 5/20/03, in WR 316 – We have to do “distance ed” today because Cora had to go home this afternoon to wait for & pay people coming (they would not guarantee what time) to fix emergency house problem, and since they are still no show at 2:45 pm I must assume I cannot make it to class today.  Please read the following email and follow directions to the best of your ability (but if that’s not possible, I promise to be very forgiving since I could not be in class today).  Though stuck at home, I will monitor my e-mailbox regularly from home and will reply ASAP to any inquiries you e-mail me between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. today:  cagatucci@cocc.edu

Today’s Goal:  Finish Annotated Bibliography (if you haven’t already)

a.  At least 10 annotated sources required
b.  Each annotated source should offer:

--complete bibliographical information (avoid plagiarism but note that justifiable deviations from MLA format are OK; and remember you’re trying to make it easy for your web-users to locate for themselves your sources)
--Summary/Analysis of source content/form relevant to Term Project
--Critical Evaluation comments on source’s strengths (+ any significant weaknesses)
c.  Anything else relevant to sound web construction (e.g. design/layout, ease of navigating among key pages in student’s web, appropriate webpage headers/footers, readability and clarity, working external/absolute links – ie. to any WWWeb sites, etc.)

2.  Term Project: Work-in-Progress Goals for the end of this Week #8:
a.  Create an entry page for Term Project
(with appropriate header, footer, filename.htm
page title, etc.)
b.  Create (relative) navigational links among Term Project entry page, Annotated Bibliography page/s, & your main Home Page
c.  Create a Copyright/disclaimer statement or page, & create relative navigational links to this copyright statement/page on all your major entry pages.  For model see Cora's Copyright page: http://www.cocc.edu/cagatucci/copyright.htm
d.  Create (at least initial draft of) your Cyber Rhetorical Analysis for Term Project: either as (part of) introduction on your Term Project entry page, or create separate page (and if so, be sure to create relative navigational links between Cyber Rhetorical Analysis, Annotated Bibliography, & Term Project entry pages).
e.  Prepare Term Project content and start posting content to your WR 316 web on (new)Term Project web pages.
