About This Site

My Goals for this site are to first target parents of ADD/ADHD children and to persuade them away from the use of harmful prescription drugs and steer them towards alternative  means of treatment. However, I don't want to limit this site to parents. With that in mind I am including positive resources for teachers to engage students in; while teaching good study skills and constructive behaviors. Overall I wish to discourage all drug use and encourage a healthy, productive, way of life for our children.

Today parents have many options for treating their ADD child. Understandably it is difficult to make choices when you must make decisions about the healthcare of your child. It is typical to allow your child to be prescribed drugs, given the pressures put on parents by teachers, school officials and doctors to medicate the problem . However, it is a parental right to consider healthy alternative treatments.

With-in the pages of this site you will find information on The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Children with ADD have educational rights and it is important that parents become well versed in them. Many families are unaware if the true definitions and symptoms of ADD.

This site includes information on what doctors are looking for when diagnosing ADD. With-in the site I offer experienced doctor and childcare specialist suggestions on drug free alternative treatments. You will find ways of changing negative behaviors into positive, constructive behaviors. Learn to develop healthy attitudes and identify problem areas, as well as nutritional foods and missing vitamins in your child's diet. Redirect your child's/student's disruptive energy into well rounded positive activities that promote good self esteem. Finally Many have found that ADD patients have benefited greatly with neurofeedback. Learn about the results of this wonderful drug free treatment.

"We have to say no to the drugging of our children"

All information with-in this site is base on study and experience and the aim is to be supportive, educational and informative. It is not a replacement for seeing your physician or to supplement  medical treatment or diagnosis.
