~Thank you for
visiting my website~

|
|
Currently I am developing a web site for
Writing 316: Advanced Prose
Writing. On completion it will contain essays, insight, and other research that
I have done for various classes while working on my teaching degree from
Eastern Oregon University
through Oregon State University-Cascades campus at Central Oregon Community
College.

~Why I wish to teach~
|
| |
One of the main reasons that I wish
to become an educator is because I hope to positively influence students just as
a former teacher of mine influenced me. Today, children are getting less
and less quality time with their parents, so I would like to be able to provide
them with a wonderful place to be—a
home away from home. Children are easily influenced and need the right
guidance and attention to be successful in their futures as adults.
Another ambition of mine is to be the type of teacher that is able to not only
teach their students, but also be able to learn alongside them—creating an
increased passion for learning within the classroom.
