NOTE! All programs except the last assignment must be submitted by December 3 to be considered for credit.

Assignment 1 Read Chapter 1 and Chapter 2
Come to class Thursday having successfully compiled and run several programs. (Two samples are given in your text in Chapter 2) If you don't experience success come to class with questions!
 
Assignment 2   Read Chapter 3
    Work through the Self-Test and Pencil and Paper exercises and bring questions to class. Do Problem 3 and Problem 4 on page 87 and 89 in your text. Please turn in Thursday 10/3
     
Assignment 3   Read Chapter 4
    Work through the Self-Test. Do the Pencil and Paper exercises and turn them in next Tuesday 10/8.
     
Assignment 4   Chapter 5 Problems
    Do problems 9 and 10 at the end of Chapter 5. Turn them in by next Thursday 10/17.
     
Assignment 5   Chapter 6 Problems
    Do the Pencil and Paper exercises and problems 3 and 6 in the programming exercises. Turn these in by Thursday 10/24.
     
Assignment 6   Read Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 (Numeric Types/Number Trouble)
    Do the Pencil and Paper exercises for both Chapter 7 and 8. Due next Tuesday, Nov. 5.
     
Assignment 7   Read Chapter 9 and do the programming exercise at OSU. The problem is Program Four (4) for Business. We discussed this in some detail in class.
     
    Assignment 8   Complete Program Five (5) for Science/Engineering. Due Nov. 26. Remember to comment your code.
 		  
        We will work on chapters 10, 12, and 14 to finish the term. Please read them.  
     
Assignment 9   Complete Program Six (6) for Science/Engineering. Due at the Final Exam. Remember to comment your code.
