| Overview: |
This class will review briefly CS161 and continue programming in Java. The emphasis of this term is on the development of data structures, algorithm analysis, recursion, and sorting. However we will also explore/review several basic programming constructs, Inheritance, Interfaces, Exceptions, and Files/Streams. A strict emphasis will be placed on proper program development and attention to program planning and documentation. |

| Labs: | The chapter exercises are the homework and basis for lab discussions. We will complete the book starting in chapter six/seven (or get as far as time allows). | |||
