COURSE
DESCRIPTION: An introduction to Programming with Visual Basic.Net.
Computer labs will require use of microcomputers outside of class time, for some students this time will be extensive. Typing skills are helpful, as are college-level reading and writing skills.
TEXT: Introduction to Programming with Visual Basic .NET by David Schneider
ATTENDANCE: Important material will be covered every class period. Pop quizzes may be given and may not be made up. Exams may only be made up with prior arrangements with instructor. Late homework will be marked down unless prior arrangements are made with instructor.
GRADING: Grades will be based on a wide variety of lab assignments, on possible quizzes,  midterm and a final examination. The assignments will be programs. The final exam is comprehensive.
