Special Engagement: This Friday night (7 p.m.), the special extended edition (Ohhh! Ahhh!) of Peter Jackson's  film adaptation of FOTR will be shown in BEC 155. Attendance is not mandatory, though you should view (or re-view) this version (i.e., not the theatrical release) film prior to next week's class in preparation for your Group Project.
