Locating
articles in specific geographic journals
(for M. McCann, Geography)
Here are some possibilities
for locating articles in Annals of the Association of American Geographers
or Geographical Review:
1) Browse the Campus Library's retrospective print journal collection:
Go to the Library.
Identify either title in the
Library's retrospective journal collection (across from the Library
Information Desk on the main floor).
Retrospective journals are
organized alphabetically by title.
Locate the journal then
browse tables of contents in each issue for relevant articles on your topic.
Note: the Campus Library has
limited collections of each of these journals:
Annals of the
Association of American Geographers 1970 to 1989
Geographical
Review 1960 to 1990
OR...
2) Browse or search COCC full text electronic versions of either title from the Campus Library or from home (or anywhere on campus). If you access this database from home you will need to first log-in using your last name and COCC ID number. NOTE: "full text" means that you can read the entire article on the screen, print it, save it, or send it to yourself via e-mail.
