Using Ebsco
Databases to Search Specific Journal Titles
Perform a word search within either journal to locate full text articles using
the Campus Library's online journal database Academic Search Premier.
This may be done from the library, anywhere on campus or from your home internet
connection. If you access this database from home you will need to
first log-in using your last name and COCC ID number.
NOTE: "full text" means that you
can read the entire article on the screen, print it, save it, or send it to
yourself via e-mail.
- Use the search form pull down menu
on the right to choose
SO Journal Name
- Type the name of your journal in
the space to the left.
- Type in a word or two pertaining
to your topic in the next space.
NOTE: you may want to explore various words for your topic. Check a
web encyclopedia such as Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sub-Saharan_Africa)
for ideas.
- Click on the search button.
- Both Geographical Review
and Annals of the Association of American Geographers are available
as FULL TEXT in Academic Search Premier. That means you can
